Domestic Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

Order Confirmation

After you order, our system automatically sends an order confirmation to the email that you supplied. Please check your junk mail as it sometimes lands there.  This will have your order number on it. Please keep this until your order arrives in the event you need to contact us about your order. 

 Fulfillment

For orders placed Sunday – Friday by 7a.m., we strive to fulfill and ship your order the following day. For orders placed on Friday after 7a.m. – Sunday, we will fulfill and ship on Monday. Expect delays in order fulfillment after busy weekends and holiday season.

 Out of Stock, Large Orders, Special Orders

If we are out of stock, we will hold your order for a day or two if we are expecting a re-supply.  Otherwise, we will contact you with alternatives.

 If your order is large, we may need additional time to pick, pack and ship it.  Additional shipping fees may apply as we cannot determine the exact weight and dimensions of large orders until we pack and weigh.  Special order for a large quantity of an item will be dependent upon when our supplier can fulfill on their end. 

 Shipping

We use calculated shipping on our store’s shopping cart program.  This estimates shipping cost.  You may see what the estimated shipping cost is by going through the process of ordering up to the point of not having to enter your Paypal or credit card numbers. We charge actual postage rate, insurance and $2.00 handling.  Packages have tracking numbers.  Mail does not.

* October 4, 2021, under the new guidelines, Americans can expect:

  • Mail being delivered 140 or fewer miles to be delivered within two days;
  • Within three days for mail traveling between 140 and 930 miles;
  • Four days for mail traveling between 930 and 1,907 miles;
  • And within five days for mail traveling longer distances.

Shipping Confirmation

Once we print a label, you will receive a shipping confirmation delivered to your email address supplied at checkout.  Please check your junk mail as it sometimes lands there.  This contains your tracking number.  The delivery time is an estimate. We do not have any control over delivery times.  Please consider that delivery times are IN ADDITION TO our fulfillment times.

 Order Tracking

You can follow your package on the shipping service’s tracking site.

PLEASE check for your shipping confirmation in your email and junk mail.  It auto-sends directly after we print a label for your package.  If you call or email us, we will do the same thing you do; go to the UPS or USPS site and enter your tracking number.  We don’t have any other way of tracking your package than by this means.  Phone calls and emails to Weir Crafts regarding tracking really slows our shippers down.  Go to the appropriate site and enter your tracking #:

It’s Not Here Yet, What Next?

There is nothing we can do to expedite delivery.  We have the same tracking information that you have, and we do not have a special relationship with our shipping services that gives us “an inside track”.  Therefore, we kindly ask that you refer to your shipping confirmation with the tracking number that is automatically sent to your email when we print the label.  If the tracking shows that your package was already delivered, please contact your local USPS office or UPS distribution center. 

Packages that have been scanned and delivered: Our responsibility ends once the package has been delivered to you. All packages are tracked and scanned at the point of delivery. It is your responsibility to be available to receive your package from USPS or UPS. Insurance applies until the package has been scanned as delivered. We cannot refund or replace packages that are stolen after delivery.  You will need to contact your local post office or UPS distribution center at this point.  UPS and USPS know the exact time and location of their deliveries.

Stolen Packages, Wrong Address, Refused

Weir Crafts is not responsible for stolen packages.  It is the responsibility of the customer to take receipt of their package.

 Weir Crafts is not responsible for shipping to an incorrect address.  Packages returned to Weir Crafts due to an incorrect address can be re-shipped if shipping is re-paid.  A refund can be made minus the outgoing shipping and any restocking fees if the customer does not wish to have the package reshipped. 

 If UPS charges Weir Crafts a fee for incorrect address, we will pass that fee to the customer.  This fee is a minimum of $16.40.

 If a customer refuses to take receipt of their package, Weir Crafts will refund the order minus the outgoing shipping and any restocking fees.

Lost or Damaged Packages

We ship from Ohio.  During the holiday season in 2020, there were enormous USPS distribution center back ups.   But, in time, all packages arrived at their destinations, albeit quite late.  Please, please, please refer to your shipping confirmation and track your package online before you contact us.  If you call or email us about a lost or late package, it is the same process we will follow.  We do not have an “inside track” with UPS or USPS.  And we will tell you the same thing you can find online.  This slows down our shipping department tremendously.  IN TRANSIT means just that, it’s still on its way.

 If the tracking shows that your package was already delivered, please contact your local USPS office or UPS distribution center. 

 Please contact us if your package arrives damaged.  Email us at: [email protected].  We will contact USPS or UPS and we will re-ship or refund you.  We may request pictures.

Shipping Insurance

We ship swatch cards via First Class Mail with no insurance.

Insurance applies until the package has been scanned as delivered.  You are responsible to be there to receive it.  Packages that are stolen or damaged after scanned delivery are at customer risk.  On the very rare occasion that your package is considered lost, please contact us at [email protected] with your tracking information and actions taken that lead to the conclusion that it is lost.

Special Delivery Request & PO Boxes

Requests to hand write delivery instructions on a package voids the USPS insurance as per their policy.  We will not refund missing orders. 

Shipping to AK, HI, APO, AEO, and U.S. Territories

We ship UPS and USPS

Priority mail generally takes 4-5 business days in transit to HI and AK from the date of shipping. First Class and Parcel Select may take up to 8-10 business days. However, this is NOT a guarantee, and delays occur in the postal system.
