Knitted Tomten Pattern

The traditional Scandinavian gnome, the tomten doll, is a wonderful companion to The Tomten by Astrid Lindgren.

You will need:

• size 7 needles

• 1 oz or 50 yds yarn for skin
• 1.5 oz or 75 yds yarn for hat
• .5 oz yarn for socks
• 1 oz mohair yarn for hair
• 3 oz wool batt
• 5x12 piece of wool felt for vest
• 24" embroidery floss for eyes
