Italian Merino Prefelt (2-3mm)

Italian Merino Wool Prefelt is slightly needled wool felt used as a base for wet and needle felting. Not strong enough to be a fabric by itself, this prefelt is open and porous enough to blend beautifully with added colors. It can be torn with soft, feathered edges that blend into a base layer.

21 micron merino wool fiber, 140 grams/meter weight per yard, approximately 44 inches wide.
