Your kit is designed to be a free-form project; just let your little one explore the materials rather than try to make a defined “picture.” Preschoolers can try making simple stitches with different colored embroidery floss or stitch on a few buttons or felt scraps. Older children may want to go one step further and create a planned design with precut felt shapes. The project directions include some design inspiration sketches they might enjoy trying out, but we encourage them to create a picture of their own. Anything goes!
