Age 5+ Projects

This is an all-inclusive kit for a child to make two felt snakes with forked tongues, beaded eyes, and beaded tails. This is a great first project for young children (approximately age 5 and up) who are eager to use a needle and thread. Little ones will require some adult assistance in getting their needle setup and tied off, but no previous sewing experience is required! Children will love exploring patterns with the beautiful felted woolen squares and will hone their fine motor skills as they string them onto their snakes. For a musical component, they can add a wooden bead tail and even make a rattle snake.
