Set of 3 Felt Bird Ornaments by Wee Things

This beautifully boxed DIY kit includes everything you will need to hand sew THREE hanging wool felt birds. Turn them into a mobile or garland, make them as ornaments, or give the box to a maker in your life. Finished birds range from 4.5″ to 6″ in length. Hand-dyed felt colors may vary slightly. This project was recently featured in Taproot Magazine Issue 51, “Imagine.”

The bird sewing kit includes:

Needle
Embroidery floss in 6 colors
Plant-dyed wool/rayon blend felt in 6 colors (shades may vary slightly)
Glass beads in two colors
100% wood battling
Detailed directions and pattern templates to make 6 unique bird shapes
All you need are scissors!
